Though Shashank has dumped the plan of making the movie’s sequel, he’s toying with the idea of making an Indianized version of Alice In Wonderland, with - no prizes for guessing - Sonam Kapoor in the lead role.
“I’d like to do my version of Alice In Wonderland with Sonam. But for now I’m doing something else for her home production,” Shashank is quoted as saying by a tabloid.
The director has been approached by Sonam’s sister Rhea, who produced Aisha, for another film that will be made in association with Walt Disney.
Shashank is unwilling to spill the beans about this film, but he does confirm that the movie will be very different from Sonam’s last film Aisha.
