Vidya Balan in an undraped sari cover on FHM
Vidya Balan in an undraped sari cover on FHM: The backless wonder! Vidya Balan hots up the FHM cover page by flaunting her sexy, silken back in an undraped sari. The talented actress is ‘Back In Demand’, shrieks the magazine cover.
FHM is celebrating its third anniversary with the November issue and Vidya is their special gal, as she is the first FHM angel to sport a sari for the cover. And why not a sari? That’s her favourite attire. A sari accentuates her inherent feistiness, the oomph which lies in her otherwise modest persona. The svelte back is now the talk of the town.
So, what Vidya has to say about being in a sari that too semi-covered and full on sensuousness, “I’m so glad people are getting bored of just seeing women in bikinis" we’ve become very parochial about sexiness. I think saree is by far the sexiest garment - it covers the right amount, it exposes the right amount - it's such a tease and I like teasing.”

Most Common between Vidya Balan, Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra
Most Common between Vidya Balan, Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra: Priyanka Chopra has suffered health setback earlier and the vanilla skinned Katrina Kaif is known for her affinity towards accidents. Katrina recently got her hair entangled in a table fan. She also bled her nose after getting hit by the barrel of a gun. Even earlier, she pulled a stomach muscle on sets of Tees Maar Khan.
But Priyanka and Katrina aren’t the only delicate gals of the B-town. Vidya Balan, who goes nude in FHM cover, has broken down on the sets of Sujoy Ghosh’s film in Kolkata. While the shoot was on, all of a sudden, she broke into hysterical sobs and tears.
Reason? Well, the reason for her emotional outburst was her gruelling schedule. Vidya has been burning midnight oil to dub for ‘No one Killed Jessica’ as the film is due for a January release. Besides, her daytime is eaten up by her shooting which is going on at high speed.
For the last 3 months, her schedule has been extremely hectic with not a minute of relief. Stress has taken a toll on her body and that’s precisely why her tears vented out earlier this week leaving all (including herself) shell shocked.
This is a harsh reminder of the price the celebs have to pay to reach to the zenith of fame. And we always envied their popularity and big money! Didn’t we?

'Kabuliwallah': Amitabh Bachchan and Vidya Balan will co-star
'Kabuliwallah': Amitabh Bachchan and Vidya Balan will co-star: Talent powerhouses Amitabh Bachchan and Vidya Balan will co-star in director Rituparno Ghosh's Kabuliwallah.
Kabuliwallah is one of the most widely known short stories by nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore; an endearing tale of friendship between a trader from Afghanistan who sells goods door to door in India, and a small Indian girl named Mini.
According to HT, Ghosh, who has been contemplating a film based on the story for some time is finally poised to launch the project to mark the 150th birth anniversary of Tagore on May 7, 2011.
Balan is looking forward to playing a grown up Mini in the film.
"Kabuliwallah is my favorite Tagore story, I've always wondered what happened to Mini after she got married and really went to her sasur badi; and the Kabuliwallah after he returned home to his daughter in Kabul," Balan tells HT.
Balan is also happy she will get another opportunity to act with her Paa co-star Amitabh Bachchan.
"He's just bagged a fourth well-deserved National Award for Paa. I feel like a proud mother," she jokes.
There was a report last month that Balan will feature in ABCL's next venture. It is not clear yet if the film in question is Kabuliwallah.
Balan, 32, is currently filming for Sujoy Ghosh directed Kahaani in Kolkata. In the film, she plays a young pregnant mother who, after having led a protected life, is forced to fend for herself by circumstances.
The film's story is centered on Balan's character.
"A woman protagonist is rare in Hindi cinema and lends herself to all kinds of references and inferences," Balan observes.
The yet to be married Balan has been reading up on pregnancies for her role in the film.
"Expectant mammas look divine. But I've been reading a book on pregnancy and all that about morning sickness, strange cravings and body changes is scary," Balan says.
