Sonakshi Sinha ready with uber-cool makeover in her next!: With a charismatic face and acting skills in place, Sonakshi Sinha has established herself as a debutante to reckon with in Bollywood.

Though her role was small in Dabangg, world took notice of her and now the starlet is ready to take Bollywood by storm with a glamorized, uber-cool makeover in her next two films.

Sonakshi will romance Salman Khan in Kick and Akshay Kumar in Joker, which will be made in 3D. “Oh yes, there's more to me than the demure gaon ki sehmi-sehmi Rajjo in Dabangg. Audiences will see me totally urbanised in Joker and Kick,” the actress is quoted as saying.

The gal who has walked the ramp and has a knack for styling is very thrilled about her two projects.

Earlier, she wasn’t sure whether she is fit for acting, but nowadays she has just films to think about. In Joker, she has a major role and the damsel claims she is almost in every frame with Akshay. While in Kick, which is a Hindi remake of a Tamil blockbuster with the same name, will see her as a bubbly girl, quite unlike her Dabangg character.

Surprisingly both the films will be directed by Farah Khan’s husband Shirish Kunder.

Though it was rumoured that Shahid was apprehensive about working with Piggy Chops, Shahid has denied it. While talking to a daily about KK’s film, Shahid said, “I have enjoyed Kunal’s works in the past whether it’s Hum Tum or Fanaa and I’m looking forward to this love story. Whoever he decides to be cast opposite me, I’m okay with it.”

Now Sonakshi Sinha has been finalized for the role; the film’s title is Janam Janam Ka Saath Hai Tumhara Hamara. We hope it’s just the working title because it’s pretty long, and corny, too.


Talking about Sonakshi’s promising career graph, the girl is on a roll, and after the super success of Dabangg she has signed some big projects. She is also in for Shirsh Kunder’s Joker opposite none other than Akshay Kumar.

Looks like everything’s going right for Sonakshi.

Sonakshi Sinha with Akshay Kumar will be seen in future: After making her debut opposite Salman Khan in Dabangg, Sonakshi Sinha is now ready to play Akshay Kumar’s love interest.

The girl will be the female lead of Shirish Kunder’s next film as director, Joker. Shirish has so far directed just one film, Jaaneman which tanked at box office. Now, Shirish is ready to wield the megaphone again.

“The film will go on floors in January 2011 and will be released around Christmas the same year,” Kunder said.

Shirish is apparently taking a big leap with this film and making it in 3D.

“It's a tale of a bunch of underdogs fighting for victory. There will be humour, some sci-fi and it will be made in 3D,” he said.

Joker will reportedly be produced by Akshay. The film’s remaining cast is still to be finalized.

Sonakshi Sinha in Red Hot at Charity Event: Sonakshi Sinha embraced the fall in a hot hue at a charity event for underprivileged women and children at Mayfair Banquets in Worli, Mumbai on Wednesday, October 20.

Sonakshi, 23, wore a tangerine cap sleeve anarkali kurta, shimmering nude churidar and golden strappy heels. Her long dark hair, styled in loose waves, draped her shoulders.

The nose pin was back on. She wore a red lipstick and golden bindi.

Sonakshi's bright attire and high wattage smile spread good cheer among the special needs children. She shook hands and sang for them, enjoying the photo op as much as the children did.

Sonakshi was accompanied to the event by mother Poonam Sinha and actress Dimple Kapadia.

The Dabangg star spent nearly Rs 1,00,000 purchasing items hand made by the tots, such as paper bags, bangles and saris.

The organizers, Maharashtra State Women's Council Working for Underprivileged Women and Children, were delighted with the huge sale.

"It was very kind of Dimpleji, Poonam and Sonakshi to come and spend time with our kids. We have never had such a huge sale," said Kushma Jiwarajka, president of the organization.
